Crafty Canine’s founder and instructor Linda Stone has had over thirty years of experience training dogs of all breeds and temperaments. As an accomplished handler, Linda has successfully competed in obedience, working trials and the show ring with German Shepherds, Welsh Terriers and a Giant Schnauzer.
Linda has instructed at dog training classes since 2001 and is proud to have achieved a 100% success rate with the students she’s put forward for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.
Here at the Crafty Canine Training Club we understand that dog owners can have hectic schedules, and in an effort to provide the best training for the dog and to accommodate the owner, we don’t set a time limit for our courses. Rather, classes are run to cater to all levels in a fun, and engaging way. Membership is open to everyone at anytime, and all we ask is that owners demonstrate a commitment to their dogs -- and their instructor -- by paying a small membership fee that helps support the club and its members.
Linda values every member and their dog as an individual and adapts training methods in order to give each one the chance to learn to the best of their ability
Our activities include companion dog training for puppies and adult dogs. We are Kennel Club Listed to hold classes for the Good Citizen Dog Scheme.
We use reward-based methods because we believe dogs should enjoy their lessons.
We make training fun for the owners too.
We encourage children to become involved with training the family dog so we can help them grow into the next generation of responsible dog owners.
Advice is freely given on all aspects of dog ownership.
Young or old, you and your dog will both benefit from the bond formed by learning together in a safe, friendly and fun environment.
Classes every Tuesday from 7-00pm at Saint Mary’s Church Hall, Union Street, Carmarthen.
We also hold a Thursday class every two weeks at Coombe Park Stables, Peniel, Carmarthen
Our next THURSDAY session will be on 9th July from 7.30pm
Memberships taken Tuesdays only. New members are required to attend at least one Tuesday session for assessment before joining the Thursday class.
